Plant Rebelz; the perfect way to green up your (tiny) house!

Though the hype around tiny houses wasn’t as massive a few years ago as it is now, we ended up having a tiny house located in the outer area of Amsterdam. With less than forty square meters (including the balcony) with the two of us, we had to be quite creative when it comes to the space we have. One of the elements that can’t be missed though in our tiny house is GREEN! I mean, we’re called the Green Stamp for a reason, right? When Plant Rebelz popped up a few weeks ago we got incredibly excited because they have the perfect GREEN stuff (AD*)!

When we just moved into our tiny house, we instantly bought a few plants. We took care of them with the utmost love which resulted in them growing massively. Though they still stand tall (and proud) in our tiny house, we felt like it was time for a change. Time for something new, time for something smaller.

You might wonder, why does that green element in your house matter that much? Obviously, there’s the aspect of esthetics and the improved quality of air when you have plants in your house. What we find the most interesting though, is that plants in your house supposedly add up to a better mental state of mind. They say that having plants gives you a brighter mood, reduce the sensation of stress, and it would help you concentrate better.

So, having clarified why we like having plants that much, it brings us to the next question: why did we want to collaborate with Plant Rebelz? Ever since we’ve embarked on the online journey, we had to learn all kinds of new skills. One of the main ones is (online) marketing. During one of our learning exercises, we had to enter a supermarket and observe the different labels from different brands for the same product. This helped us in learning what looks appealing for a customer, which colors, which tone of voice, which images are used, or what font is being used. While exploring Plant Rebelz’s website we caught ourselves laughing out loud a few times. After receiving the products, we now know they deliver high-quality products, but with their marketing, it feels like “love at first sight”. What adds up to this “love experience” is the fact that their customer service is very responsive and the way of communicating through email is just as playful as their branding. This is something we really like, and we feel it’s something many brands can learn from (just like we can :-D).

That brings us to the next, quite important, point: which plants did we choose? Like we mentioned before, we wanted something that would do the space we have justice. After exploring Plant Rebelz’s website we quickly knew we wanted to get our hands on a terrarium. When we added our tiny house into the mix we decided to go for the “Bright Soldier”. Besides this soldier, we wanted something that we could help grow again. This led up to us buying the plant cutting “Fearless Rebel Kid”.

At the moment of writing, we have had these two bad boys in our house for a little over a week. We ordered them on a Sunday evening, and we received them within two days. While unpacking the box, we both got super excited. Just like their online branding is on point, so is their way of packing. The sensation of unpacking an early birthday present comes quite close! Our Fearless Rebel Kid we have placed next to our window, while we keep the Bright Soldier closer to us. Literally while writing this review the Bright Soldier stands next to my laptop. A fun feature about the Bright Soldier is that it has a little light on the top of its cover. This literally brightens up the table while working!

So, for anyone that wants to have more plants in their house, or for anyone that is looking for an original gift; we would most definitely say Plant Rebelz is the place to go. From the moment you take a look on their website, to the moment of seeing your green babies grow, buying through Plant Rebelz is a complete experience.

Do we have any feedback have for Plant Rebelz? While most of their packaging is done with paper or cardboard boxes, some elements are wrapped in plastic. As “Green Advocates” we would like to see if Plant Rebelz finds a way to greenify these elements as well 🙂

Our two “green babies” are doing wonderful, and no, we haven’t named them yet. Since we are always open for suggestions, you can give name suggestions in the comment section below!

*We received a gift card from Plant Rebelz to write this review. This review is based on our true experiences and this gift card doesn’t influence this review.
